This event featured environmental soundings, new compositions for The Piano Mill by Michael Hannan (Landscape/Soundscape II) and Colin Noble (Messiaen’s Birds), a performance of Kate Neal’s Never Tilt your chair back, and the world premiere of Vibrations in a landscape by Erik Griswold and Vanessa Tomlinson.

Vibrations in a Landscape is a musical composition, kinetic sculpture, and ephemeral environmental artwork all in one. Vibrations places a team of 20 percussionists in an organically unfolding choreography around the The Lodge, creating sonic and visual waves across the landscape.

In addition to the new works for the Mill by Colin Noble and Michael Hannan, and Kate Neal's Never tilt your chair back, there were forest performances led by Jodie Rottle, Hannah Reardon-Smith, Brodie McAllister, Sam Pankhurst & more.
